Ooooo white vintage home alert!

Since I love Scandinavian style, I love white and lots of it. I know it's not for everyone. But when I saw this house I thought lovely lovely *lovely*. A white home crammed with vintage finds in Melbourne, Australia from the beautiful mag Campagne Decoration..

Although it's hard to say, I think my favourite room is the bedroom / bathroom which is simply stunning. The kitchen storage is also lovely and unique - the wired basket draws under the island unit, and the use of curtains instead of cupboards add to the unique feel of the home. Do you have a favourite?

OK, OK I said I wouldn't start yet, *but* these lovely Christmassy snaps from Walter & Co were to pretty to pass up. Unfortunately the online shop only seems to be in Swedish but if you're feeling multi-lingual go in and take a peek, there are lots of lovely things for the home. I covet the children's first aid kit for my girls!

Hello and Happy Monday! I hope you had a lovely weekend. Here in Sweden the lakes are starting to freeze so for those of you longing for your bed this morning here are a couple of pics of 'log cabin' inspired bedrooms from some of Norway's top bloggers. This and above picture: Draumesidene by Elin Parr via NIB. I wish I knew where this ski bedding was from,  I LOVE it! Anyone have any tips?

What I love most about these bedrooms is the use of winter themed motives such as reindeer and skiiers on the bedding and all the natural wood used in various forms, so cosy for this time of year.

Got to run and get my morning Latte (*emergency!!*) but pop by this afternoon for inspiration on where to shop and what to buy for a log cabin feel! Hej heeej!

Cupboard love

Check out this storage unit designed by Nicholai Wiig. And the good news? It's from IKEA! Below, the IKEA PS has been spray painted in four fabulous colours (see below for colour details). A project for the weekend perhaps?!

In scandinavia bikes are definitely the favourite mode of transport - even in the snow! But when you live in a small apartment and you want to keep your precious ride safe where to put it? The good news is bikes are definitely one of the 'hot' interior accessories du jour!....

What do you think? Crazy or lazy?! Hot or not?! The bike in the bedroom made me smile - are they going to have breakfast in bed and then hop on for work?! Either way, not sure I'd get that home styling passed my husband!

Turquoise and greens in a beautiful Swedish cottage kitchen

I love the kitchen of this summer cottage out in the Stockholm archepelegoes. Everything you see has a history from the shelving unit picked up in India to the lamp over the table which was a French flea market find.Turquoise and light greens are quickly becoming my favourite colours of the week, they are so beautiful against the white don't you think?
